Undergraduate Programs

英语 majors will interpret and analyze literary texts from a minimum of three different genres: poetry, 电影 and fiction while they cultivate their professional writing skills.

This program combines the required courses for the 英语文学学士 with those required for 老师 Certification in 英语 (P-12). To meet the approved program for certification in 英语, coursework is required in Health for 老师 Education, Speech for 老师 Education, and Professional Sequence Requirements.

辅修英语
The 英语 minor covers the basic tenets of analyzing and interpreting contemporary literature. Students will take one required course in the Pursuits of 英语 combined with five elective courses that are relevant to the minor, covering subjects as varied as Major Film Genres, Toni Morrison and Contemporary Poetry.
Graduate Programs

In the master’s program, students may choose course work in British Literature, American Literature, International Literature or Writing Studies to complement the required core courses and electives.
